Smart homes innovations expanding their connected home features with everything from intelligent security and temperature control to products that alert the Homeowner when there is a leak. Smart features can be put into the home during construction, renovation, or one by one addition.
Currently, Suggestor works with Non-MLS properties due to the inability of MLS to support green and smart attributes. In our case, when the Seller fills-out the Seller form, he/she will enter information about green and smart features in their house. This information will feed into the Suggestor and produce a missing report based on the green and smart attributes against General Features Table. Each feature on this table will explain what it does to the property, possible savings, links to available information on the Internet, and links to our advisors. When feasible, we can show their available incentives (like government subsidies for a solar roof). More...
After the seller (or any other person interested in receiving the same report) reads such a report, he can choose green and smart items from the report and enter his budget (how much money he/she wants to spend on implementing these items). It will generate a link to our advisor.
At the same time, the seller or any other person who has property on our website will get a link to our Pledge form and will be able to browse homeowners who give their permission to share their information with other homeowners. Such information will include what was done and contact information.
On Details of Non-MLS properties that are Green, Smart, or Both, users will see the following text “Homeowner is a part of the global initiative to save our planet by contributing …(provide a list of smart and green features).
In Details screen houses with many green and smart attributes will display a more significant percentage point and win over others. Such points and analytics will enhance property appeal.
At this point, we’re using demo property with demo smart and green properties. As soon as our sellers upload their property with smart and green attributes, such houses will be available search on Green & Smart Homes Search.
We are thinking about how to add smart and green attributes to MLS properties.
