1. Abbott Farm Historic District
This is an archaeological site and is located in Trenton, Mercer County. Also the largest known Middle Woodland village of its type.
2. Batsto Village
It is a historic unincorporated community. Batsto is located on County Route 542, Washington Township in Burlington County. Here you can attend a wide variety of events and activities.
3. The Absecon Lighthouse
A coastal lighthouse located in the north end of Atlantic City. The Lighthouse first lit in 1857 and is the tallest lighthouse in the state of New Jersey.
4. The Hermitage
A National Historic Landmark and house museum located in Ho-Ho-Kus, Bergen County. The Hermitage served a place to stay for George Washington.
5. Hancock House
It is a historic structure in Hancock’s Bridge. Was built by judge William Hancock in 1734.
6. Paterson Great Falls
Another Historic Landmark located in Paterson Passaic. The Great Falls is 77 feet high.
7. Palisades Interstate Park
First created in 1900. About thirty miles of trails in the Park offer opportunities for hikers ranging from easy riverside strolls to challenging rock scrambles.
8. Cape May Historic District
The city has so many buildings /over 600/ in the late Victorian style, which take you back half a century in time.
9. Burlington County Prison
The Prison operated 1811 – 1965 in Mount Holly Township, Burlington County. This is a Historic Landmark and the oldest prison in the US.
10. All Saints’ Memorial Church
This stone gothic church was built by the architect Richard Upjohn in 1864. It is located in Navesink.
